Akshay Ware

I am a cinematographer with over 10 years of experience in filmmaking, passionate about creating visuals that serve the story. My journey has taken me across India and the UK, where I've worked as a Cinematographer, Camera Operator, Assistant Camera, and 1st Assistant Director on feature films, short films, commercials, and digital productions. I hold an MA in Cinematography from Bournemouth University, UK, and Diploma in Digital Cinematography From Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). I have experience working with a wide range of camera systems, including ARRI, Sony, Canon, and Panasonic. Most recently, I worked as the In-House Cinematographer and Studio Manager at MergeXR Studios, where I led cinematography for virtual production projects while managing studio operations, equipment, and production workflows. I enjoy collaborating closely with directors and creative teams to transform ideas into compelling visual stories. Whether I'm leading the camera department or supporting the team as a Camera Operator or Assistant Camera, I bring a calm, detail-oriented approach, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on every production.
